                                         Roy and Elma Jackson Memorials

 

Roy and Elma Jackson were active members of the Community Presbyterian Church (CPC) for many years. Roy died suddenly of a heart attack on October 13, 1976 at the age of 60. Family and friends of Roy contributed to the Memorial Fund at CPC. Pew Bibles, Good News Bible, Today’s English Version, were given to the church in memory of Roy.

 

Elma Jackson was active in Presbyterian Women, the Ruth Circle and was the church secretary for years. Elma died of cancer on March 22, 1990 at the age of 68. Family and friends of Elma contributed to the Memorial Fund at CPC. A beautiful stained-glass window of the symbol of the Presbyterian Church, USA was designed and built by Beard’s Decorating Center in Kirksville. The window is displayed in the vestibule of the church for everyone to enjoy.

 

Roy and Elma had five children: Robert, Ann, Carol, Tom and Becky.
