                                                 Evelyn Bedell Awards

Evelyn Bedell was a perfect example of making the most of the golden years. At age 72, she graduated from San Francisco Theological Seminary and in 1988 was ordained by Missouri Union Presbytery. In honor of her ministry, the Evelyn Bell Award was created to recognize older adults for their service to the church. The Community Presbyterian Church has chosen the following persons for their outstanding service in the presbytery, CPC, and the community. These individuals’ service reflects God’s love. We are grateful to God for their loving hearts and steadfast service.
